Edwards agreed in the consent to appear and be interviewed. The SEC could ask the questions - and Edwards could take the Fifth. That's exactly what Einhorn, Edwards' attorney and designated agent, told White that Edwards would continue to do. No further attempt has been made by the SEC to get Edwards to cooperate more fully. No rule to show cause has been filed by the SEC.
As a practical matter, the boilerplate language in paragraph 14 of the consent is unenforcible.
