Obama wanted the market to rise. With it in the dumper it would have been harder to keep his agenda on track. He wanted the health care takeover passed before the summer break while the markets were up. Now it is going to be really tough to get anything passed especially if the Republicans continue to focus on the cost of Obamacare.
The decline in the markets and the advent of depression will seal the doom of Obama's presidency. I strongly believe he will be a one termer and the Democrats will lose control of Congress next year.
