Talked with my banker this morning.... PNC.... She said they are merging in a series of waves placing their employees in each location to ease the transition.... What I found interesting is the purchase price.... WAMU sure got ripped with 1.9B....

The Pittsburgh bank revealed plans to scoop up struggling regional bank National City for about $5 billion in stock. At the same time, it said it would sell $7.7 billion of equity to the treasury.
