I hate to be the one to point this out, but a truly "free market" will never work. The flaw is at the very core of our being. All Animals adapt to the environment around them. We are the only creature capable of adapting our environment to us. There will always be individuals who will take advantage of others to enrich themselves. To be human is to guarantee corruption at some level in society.

We however as a species have realized this problem and that is why Government was created.

If we are to have a truly free market approach to health care and at the same time provide it to everyone, health care needs to be made non-profit. We as a species need to evolve past this notion that a basic fundamental need of our species should be made into a profitable enterprise.

The only way to force this would be through a system in which a governing body, of elected leaders, would create such a system in which this could be achieved.

The problem is NOT government, the problem is the lack of intelligence among Americans, to elect leaders that will do just that, lead. We elect pretty pictures and slogans, we haven't elected an intelligent leader in a very long time.

Now Obama is intelligent, that was obvious by him getting elected. However it is still obvious that the majority of the elected people who draft our legislation in Congress, both Democrat and Republican alike, are incompetent and lack the experience to truly deal with the issue. Why do we elect lawyers to make business decisions? Why is that? Are people so stupid they vote for a lawyer? Wouldn't a successful business man be a better idea?

Lawyers don't lead.. they interpret, that is the core problem in our Country.. we are the core problem because we vote for pretty pictures and slogans.. not intelligence.
