srowen,

Your statement depicts a clear divergence from your original demeanor when you first came on this board. You came here with a self proclaimed mission targeted at Streetstylz. At that time you also conceded several items in favor of Neom, including that there is room for all players.

It is quite evident that you remain one dimensional on this subject. You arrived here with little or no "industry awareness." While you may be a good developer/coder, I (and others) had found our need to school you in many "industry" aspects of the technology to be revealing. You were not aware of "many" key developments. Frankly, you were unaware of a number of key players within the space. IMO you had little knowledge of what was going on in this space other than the specific work you performed at "one" particular company. Apparently you also had no desire to accept or retain any of that which posters took time and energy to share. I find this unfortunate.

IMO, you hinder yourself from thinking outside the box. Should a director issue you a task I have little doubt you will get it done, however, I tend to consider that your greatest weakness may be that you are rigid enough to believe that things today will always be as they are...or, perhaps you are afraid they may change.

Either you are truly myopic in relation to this subject, or you have a vested interest in direct codes (This is not a poke...after all, we are all a bit myopic on this board and iHubbers carry a vested interest, but I point this out because I do find your most recent statement to be slanted, demeaning, and annoying on a board which you KNOW will take issue).

From what I recall Vodafone is the carrier enabling codes in Japan. I try to avoid ever believing that things today will remain the same...particularly in today's world. If there is a powerful business model attached I assure you that the industry (and Vodafone) will consider some form of change (JMO). Perhaps even relating to QR codes. Never say never.
