They are going to make sure that if the case goes into a criminal Fraudulent Transfer and Criminal Conspiracy of the OTS&FDIC to steal the biggest savings and loans in US history, then they would step in.

Remember, the administration would never allow the FDIC to be found guilty of criminal charges. That would not only be an embarrassment for the administration but we could have the biggest run on banks in US history.

The Treasury Department has the funds to settle this today but they cannot interfere because the BK case is between 2 private institutions.

If WMI lawyers file for criminal charges against the OTS and FDIC, they would settle before we can blink.

Right now, it watch and see if the 2 parties can settle because JPM has the disputed assets already on their books.
