regarding the seizure of most of WMI's assets:

i know they lost the banking operations, but what "assets" or the remainder of operations is left? is there anything to possibly build a new bank? if they did, could they revive the WAMU brand again? did they lose the rights of the WAMU bank name in the fire sale?

it's so confusing. and i still cringe any time i have to walk into a chase bank in CA. CRINGE!

anyway, any insight into this would be great. if WMI holding co. is still around, then how can you get info on them? will they have a website? contacts? etc.?
