Are you sure about the "tight restrictions"... Countrywide bank CEO, Angelo Mozilo was selling 10's of millions of his own shares while at the same time publicly stating that Countrywide was in good financial standing and that shareholders should'nt be concerned about the co. holding bad risky mortgages... After he cashed out, the PPS plumetted!
