I doubt that IMJX is doubting the fact that there are already surgical checklists, and that they have been in use for years. BUT, there is a difference in the type of standard that there is in surgical checklist.
When you are at your hospital, they have thier own, and other hospitals have theirs as well... but without a specific standard.
I beleive that what IMJX is coming up with is a standard, which is hoping to be accepted by all operating arenas as the standard... so if a surgeon is working in one hospital, and is required in another, there will be a standardized means of checking the safety precautions in the surgery.... as well as a more efficient and safeguarding system.
All IMO.... and I guess time will tell.
Need more time... I wish the markets were open 24 hours a day....
