We think a lot alike, sometimes. LOL

When I read the recipe, I was thinking, where are the tomatoes?

Then I got to the pureeing part, I thought to myself, why not puree just some of it to thicken it?

I would use some soy sauce instead, or maybe in addition to, the Worcestershire too.

Sounds like a great recipe though.
