she made it out of Tower #2 ?? i was in NYC week after Sept 11. was quite a weekend. made it by my lonesome self with a rental vehicle within 5 days from Ontario through Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia - ferry to Newfoundland and then back to Nova Scotia -- ferry to USA and conked out in Connecticut [thinking i was in NYC..LOL]...but fortunate to be nearby transit to get into NYC within an hour. there was a curfew placed that morning -- only 2 or more per vehicle allowed in NYC...and i took the wrong turn...and missed going straight into NYC. i would have made it if only for the wrong turn. :(

took pictures of what i could of ground zero and NYC people. would have been great opportunity to buy real estate that week.
