This is my biggest holding now without much competition as far as companies (although cash is #1 still).
SMID has shrunk in the port to a distant #2 from me selling some but think they will have a good coming Q. Just not sure what they can do after that.
Conversely, I think AYSI has finally waded thru the financial meltdown sludge, are nearing an inflection point to pick up momentum, and can now start showing the world what they can do with the best alloy overlay wear plate on the market and a new world class mill (plus the older one and all this is paid for).
Still have to see the proof in the pudding after last Q but think with BHP's recent endorsement and FMG's heavy usage, it makes sense Rio Tinto will have to take notice with their 2 main competitors using the plate widely and then it is over the last hump and smooth running lest we have another financial meltdown.
Keep the faith longtime longs if you made it this far. Our time is coming.
