We could start off by getting rid of three or four people who can't run an oil company and find three of four that can. Nothing against the guys that are there now but they don't have the expertise to run an operating oil company and they'd probably tell you that themselves. Then we could structure a pay package which is heavily dependent upon stock and share price appreciation with minimal cash. Imagine actually tying executive salaries to share price appreciation. What a novel idea. I've NEVER seen a company that doesn't want its employees to buy or even own stock in their own company. What an idiotic policy but that seems to be the policy at ERHE. Going back to the the example of HDY, they have far less cash than ERHE, are far from drilling and have no source of income yet they were able to hire all those competent people anyway. It can be done.
