Titan Mining reports record 2024 production, expands resources

Titan Mining President Rita Adiani joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company’s year-end results, highlighting record production and strong financial performance in 2024. The company met the upper end of its production guidance, while costs were 10% lower than the low end of its all-in sustaining cost (AISC) guidance. In Q4 2024, Titan Mining produced 21.7 million pounds of payable zinc, marking a 56% increase compared to Q4 2023. Total full-year 2024 production reached 59.5 million pounds. The company also posted Q4 revenues of $26.3 million, representing a 318% increase from Q3 2024 and a 241% increase from Q4 2023. Adiani also shared updates on the company’s mineral resource expansion, noting that Titan completed an updated mineral resource estimate and extended the mine life for ESM’s zinc operations until 2033. The updated estimate reports a 22% increase in measured and indicated contained zinc pounds compared to the 2020 resource estimate. In addition to its zinc operations, Titan completed a maiden mineral resource estimate for the Kilbourne Graphite Project. Nostra Terra Oil and Gas CEO on Fouke field growth plans, 5,000 barrels a day target

Nostra Terra Oil and Gas Company PLC CEO Paul Welch talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s strategy to scale up production and drive growth from its existing base of operations in East Texas and West Texas. Welch explained that Nostra Terra is currently focused on the Pine Mills field, a long-life, shallow onshore field with low operating costs and consistent profitability. “It's been an exciting field for the last 75 years and we expect it to be an exciting field for the program for the next 20 to 30 as well,” he said. Since taking over as CEO around nine months ago, Welch has led the company to profitability by cutting costs and increasing production. He highlighted two successful well workover programs that have effectively doubled production. A key highlight is the Fouke area, where new drilling, including the upcoming Fouke-3 well, could deliver significant volumes. Welch pointed out that these wells can initially produce around 120 barrels per day—compared to the average of 6 to 10 barrels from the Pine Mills wells. If enhanced recovery schemes are implemented, the output could potentially double. Welch reaffirmed the company’s ambitious growth target: “This is a company that's going to be making 5,000 barrels a day in the next 3 to 5 years.” The focus remains on building from a solid, profitable base, with production costs in the Fouke area as low as $3 to $4 per barrel, ensuring resilience across various oil price environments. ATOME signs milestone EPC deal with Casale for Villeta project

ATOME PLC (AIM:ATOM) CEO Olivier Mussat talked with Proactive about a landmark milestone for the company’s Villeta green fertiliser project in Paraguay. The company has signed its first definitive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement with Swiss firm Casale S.A. Mussat explained that this agreement marks the world’s first large-scale green hydrogen fertiliser project to reach the EPC stage, underlining its global relevance. “It’s significant for us as a company because we’ve announced that we had been working on the front-end engineering and design for more than two years now,” Mussat said, noting the long-term collaboration with Casale. He highlighted Casale’s industry-leading expertise, describing the firm as the oldest ammonia licensor globally, with the ability to deliver complex, full-chain fertiliser projects. According to Mussat, the partnership serves as a strategic blueprint for Casale’s future growth. Looking ahead, ATOME aims to reach a final investment decision on the Villeta project by the end of the first half of the year. The company is working to finalise offtake agreements and complete financial documentation for both debt and equity funding. Tamboran Resources boosts NT gas supply with Arafura deal

Tamboran Resources Ltd CEO Joel Riddle talked with Proactive about the company's newly signed letter of intent (LOI) with Arafura Resources Ltd to supply gas from the Beetaloo Basin. Riddle explained that both companies are based in the Northern Territory, and the agreement supports local strategic projects by providing 25 terajoules (TJs) per day to Arafura's critical minerals project. The agreement aligns with Tamboran’s strategy of prioritising Northern Territory gas use. “We’re a Northern Territory company. We’ve been focused on appraising the Beetaloo Basin now for all 12 years I’ve been in my job,” Riddle said, highlighting the company’s long-term commitment to the region. Riddle also pointed out the environmental edge of Beetaloo Basin gas, which has a CO2 content of about 3%, significantly lower than the 15–20% typically found in other Australian basins. He said supplying this low-carbon gas to the East Coast would help reduce emissions by displacing higher-carbon alternatives. Discussing supply capacity, Riddle compared the Beetaloo to the Marcellus Shale in the US, noting it could provide enough gas to support the East Coast for “hundreds of years”. Tamboran plans to bring 40 TJs per day online in the first half of next year under an existing 15-year agreement with the NT Government. The Arafura deal will add a further 25 TJs daily. Riddle said work is underway with pipeline partner APA to ensure infrastructure capacity. The company aims to finalise a binding gas sales agreement with Arafura soon.
