Gappa2, URST has mentioned in one of their newsreleases that the company gets along very well with the local authorities.

Because there are few people near the Green Giant and its in a dry savannah, and the vanadium ore extraction is not complex, the environmental constraints are not onerous.

Furthermore, I have never heard or seen a TV news story about unrest and strife on Madagascar...have you?
