I totally understand your friend's feelings regarding pink sheet stock dividends. I have a couple of those bad seed dividends in my portofolio that haven't materialized to anything. I did read that E-trade converts those for free so I may look into transferring those over there.

That could be why the excitement isn't there though you'd think the potential future earnings spelled out in today's PR would be enough motivation to take the plunge.

Oh well...
