I am not sure of their strategy, but my theory is, by disclosing the holdings and trading patterns, they will be able to show the court that the committee as a whole embarked on an accumulation strategy that was based on what they were told at the roundtable settlement meetings. By using the rule 2019 ruling,, JPM's lawyers could be strong-arming them into selling the notes to them at a discount or face criminal and fraudulent charges that they would have to answer to.

Very Sticky circumstance here. THJMW could block this on a privacy.proprietary issue, lets hope she does...
