It would be a lot cheaper putting them in an area like that. Winds coming off the watter tend to be a little more substained. I also know about those areas, Assiteague(sp) Chicateague(sp) Norfolk, would be good... There is an advantage though to having them on the appalachain trail ridges, aned that is being able to connect to the grids and such.. Anyhere you see those TALL powerlines within reach of a station is Good. West Texas already has a mess of windmills, and More is going up... T-Boone has plans for the ones coming in, and the folks at SYNJ know it... :) Even though when asked what will he do with them,, you need to read his reply to understand, they are already making deals. oopppppssssss...... (JMHO)... :&)
