Now... Orda... let's look at the whole picture...

... as best we can, that is.

Does anyone question WHY so many companies have been quiet about Microsoft's dereliction... ? Market power. The goodies. Money. Access.

Almost unprecedented.

Which brings me to GOOGLE. Peter Biddle, the MARKETING guy for trusted computing at Microsoft... and the guy who really spearheaded BitLocker... is now working at The Google Office at Intel.

Only Google, really, has the kind of market muscle to push this in the direction in needs to go, in my opinion. Maybe Google and Intel? That's surely enough to move the dial. But... will they? Do they see this market opportunity? Are they up for the fight?

Let me just say... this stuff I'm talking doesn't EXPLAIN everything. But it sure helps ME understand why no software support... why Infineon failed at this... why HP has almost zero (maybe one) trusted computing case studies on their website... and why the interminable wait from rather important (critical) things to happen.

Now I know why the NSA has been working so closely with Linux... because they can see the code and modify it to their needs.

This is not The Theory of Everything. But it sure explains much.

Best Regards,
