How much was a state of the art rear projection tv 2 years ago ?
How much for that matter was a nice new plasma tv last year ?
DVD/CD's make my point ... almost... why should they drop... demand is fueled by more folks getting the burners as part of the computer package... you know.. ink jet printers are cheap cheap cheap BUT you also know the consumable (ink) cost makes you feel like Ned Beatty in Deliverance... Hell even my laser... two toners is more than the present cost of the machine... Which BTW is half of what it cost me what a year and a half ago...? Toner is not down but the printer cost is... Hmmm! seems like a theme...

Groceries ? Well I've been eating a lot of steak as you know... Mad Cow has it cheap cheap cheap... don't see much chicken or pork on 'special' these days do you ? and OTOH, like Ricky

in trailer park boys... I like my pepperoni... Those little mini sticks are up from 6.50 last year to 8 bucks now for .5Kg .... OK they are still a good deal at CostCo... @ 5.50Kg... Coffee was going down down down until the loonie found it's equilibrium again... Gas ? Natural Gas ? I better start shopping at Walmart...

BTW... ready for Power deregulation this year... Maybe it won't be in 'core' inflation though LOL so we can all sing Kumbaya ... 'cause if it aint in the core who cares.. Anyway electricity ? who needs it..

are your other 'services' getting cheaper ? Phone .. cable .. insurance... pick'em .... Stagflation seems to me where we are headed... What you need costs more .....
