CombJelly, I think you underestimate AMD. The transition to 90 nm is giving them some additional capacity -- though I agree the majority of the pain Intel is feeling is due to OEMs reducing inventory.

However this brings up another point, which has been raised before. What is Intel producing in all those 90nm 300mm fabs? Which further begs the question as to why the rush to transition to 65nm per their recent announcements?
