jimlur....Having only been in IDCC for 6 years I am somewhat of a newby but to me this is IDCC's biggest weakness. I don't know what it is going to take to effect such a change but I firmly believe they just aren't getting it done on the licensing end at this time. I am not going to go off on a tyrade and muddy up the board with complaints but we have not seen near the licensing agreements since sony/ericy as we should have. We all talked about the rivers of licensees that would flow after S/E and that has not happened. We now look to Nok and Samsung to be those catalysts. We shall see. IDCC mgmt itself has said that 2G suits should have no effect on 3G licensing, if that is the case I believe we should be signing a bunch in 04/05. I have actually decided to keep my shares long for a couple of years but forget about the day to day as for me this is way to secretive and frustrating company to follow on that type of basis. If they finally take care of business and can live up to their undeniable potential I will be rich, if they don't and it meanders or returns to single digits, so be it. I have positioned my portfolio that the upward benefit would be outstanding but that I could now live fine if it retreated to single digits. I know many people have it all tied to IDCC and that is their business but I quite honestly can't take the emotion of watching IDCC's lack of progress (IMO). Time will tell but I know not watching them on a day to day basis over the last 3 months has been much less stressful. Its all in their hands, it will either get done or not get done and I honestly don't think anything I do is going to change that. Final comment....Find a pitbull and tie his pay to results...which is where all pay for mgmt should be placed with IDCC (IMO). Suggestions for many here...walk away from this board for a month or so, you will feel better....
