I emailed Ben Saba yesterday with questions I had about magic phone. I am considering signing up for a phone, but I had some concerns based on research and post made on this board about people having problems. I received my response today. I have included my email and the response received to my questions. I am satisfied with answers. Also take note of the new carrier portion of the response:)

Hello Sir

Please See Below

Kind Regards

Ben Saba

Hi, my name is Kevin

I am considering signing up for the magic phone. I do have a couple of
questions I would like answered
1. The coming soon category
FREE Caller ID with Name
FREE Call Waiting
FREE Call Forwarding
FREE Call Transfer
FREE Three Way Calling

[--Reply from Ben Saba--] The new SP100 fully supports call waiting and 3 way calling, callerID is supported but without name, we are getting on a new carrier that will supply this info and our developers have nearly completed the code on our side. Magic phone to Magic phone will show the name. I am not sure when call transfer will come in. Call forwarding should be in within 2-3 weeks. W are still working on the code.

When do you expect these services to be available and will I get them free
if I am already signed up?

2. Will 911 service ever be available

[--Reply from Ben Saba--] It won't be, not because of technology but liability. FCC must get involved, other wise we will not offer it to our client

3. If I order a phone tomorrow, how long before I receive it

[--Reply from Ben Saba--] If everything goes well within a week

I am considering eliminating my local phone service, which is why the above
3 questions are important to me. I have been looking at other VOIP
providers, however since I am a GTEL shareholder I wanted to try here first.

[--Reply from Ben Saba--] We do not suggest for you to do that, what if there is no power at your home and you need to make a phone call, Then What....... with PSTN (Regular) phone you still can make phone calls even you are out of power....

Thank you
Kevin
