I think we're in agreement for the most part in our opinions about what will ultimately happen with BUNM but our opinions are different about why things will happen.

Hypster isn't going to become a paying site because of the drive and ambition of TLM.

It's going to be a pay site because the changes in the industry with the backing of the courts and government are going to facilitate things to where ALL of these sites are "pay for subscription" type websites. TLM is just going to follow suit. Once the majority are charging for service, there are other dynamics involved which won't allow for the survival of those who don't. I don't think that it was ever the intention of any of these sites to provide "free" music players forever.

I think all along they had the intention of charging for these services but needed to build the user bases and get people accustomed to and for lack of a better word, addicted to using these websites as regular sources for music. They've probably got things set up in the software structure the ability to cut off any individual user at any time. With this ability, they've got "no pay-no play" set up right from the beginning.

I don't doubt that TLM would accept a buyout. Actually, it's been what the vast majority of us have been hoping for in order to get a more rapid return on our investments. What I'm saying is that should a big player decide to buy, it won't come with a cheap pricetag because unless he's completely crazy, TLM knows full well what will be happening with these sites in the near future and probably isn't going to accept the equivalent of 1 year's revenues for a music service which will be making millions of dollars per month- probably within the next 2 years and for all the forseeable future.
