I have to agree with your thoughts here, too late for a reversal. To that point, any decision to reverse would likely be at the end of a court battle which includes extensive discovery, and they will likely go all out to avoid this, both JPM and the FDIC, IMO. Much, much easier to settle and save face, careers and possible jail time.
