And this.

GTC Strategy
During the past six years, GTC has established itself as an innovative developer and supplier of specialist tracking, monitoring and communications equipment to the U.S. government, leading government prime contractors and commercial users. Although GTC offers products across a number of satellite networks, we specialize in offering custom designed products which transmit data using the Globalstar satellite network.

Over the years, GTC has made a significant investment in a number of unique network infrastructure devices, known as appliqués, which provide the signal receipt and processing technology that enables and powers Globalstar's Simplex Data Service. GTC's appliqués are located at a number of Globalstar satellite ground stations around the world including those located in Australia, Europe, Russia, and South America.

GTC plans to continue investing in additional appliqués in order to increase data coverage across the globe and has started to construct its own ground stations in areas where no Simplex Data Service is currently offered by Globalstar. Furthermore, in order to keep pace with the ever growing and technically complex demands of customers requiring rapid solutions, GTC intends to advance its studies into the possibility of using airships and/or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to provide a rapid deployment system for wireless communications and tracking and monitoring solutions.

Due to the ever-increasing demand for persistent, medium to long duration applications at medium and high altitudes to support armed forces, disaster relief organizations, homeland security and border control operations, GTC aims to develop or modify its existing remote monitoring and tracking equipment for use on autonomously operational airships and UAVs with medium to high altitude capabilities.

GTC has partnered with Sanswire-TAO for this project. Sanswire-TAO is a U.S. based technology company that designs specialized airships capable of carrying various payloads and transmitting various types of wireless communications. The Sanswire-TAO design centre is based in Stuttgart, Germany and takes advantage of the collective resources of one of the world's best technology hubs at the University of Stuttgart. Sanswire-TAO's aerospace testing facilities include wind tunnels, environmental test chambers, structural testing devices, computer aided design and a legion of aerospace and physics professionals led by one of the community's foremost aviation experts, Dr. Bernd Kröplin.

Sanswire-TAO offer many unique credentials to GTC, including their patented fuel gas engine which eliminates the need for complex ballast systems and their 'Segmented Module' design which eliminates all internal structures and the need for and weight of large stabilizers. This is an important factor for GTC as high payload capabilities are essential for the success of this project.

GTC will receive technical assistance on the satellite data communications aspect of the project from Globalstar, the world's largest provider of mobile satellite voice and data services.
