"Are you tuned in to the Holy Spirit? Do you hear when He speaks to you? And if you do, do you obey? If you are walking on a day-by-day basis with the Holy Spirit, then the next time you hear a gentle whisper speaking to you, pay attention. It just might be something you – or someone else - need to hear."

I dont know why it does...but it does...in my short 13 years of knowing Jesus as Lord and Savior. As i have come to hear and understand the Holy Spirit working in my life...it amazes me at how tuned in i can be at times. Now does that mean that i ALWAYS listen...well no...im pretty bull headed sometimes....i guess its that flesh thing ....in other words...my own self centeredness of wanting it do it MY way sometimes.

But thank God, for the most part i do pretty good at listening....And Lord knows its just every little bit the Holy Spirit has to give me a little knock up side the head....LOL...But there again.....As i grow in my walk with Jesus...i start to mess up...i hear that little word or thought in my head...and i stop...and if i went a LITTLE to far...right then i ask Jesus to forgive me...and when i stop right then and avoid messing up by word or action or deed...i right then say thank you Lord for getting my attention and giving me the good sense to listen...

I have come to find that the more we listen...the more we train ourselves to hear....the easier it is to receive and avoid taking that wrong step in sins direction...its not always easy....but practice makes perfect and though im a long ways from perfect...ive come a long way by the grace and mercy of our loving God!

The Holy Spirit is within us...when we open our hearts and minds to him...man, he will work wonders in our lives and our relationship with Jesus will grow by the day as we surrender more and more to HIM.
