here is something what a baked potato can do for those that like baked ones. i wonder what a double bake would do for ones health?

Who Knew a Baked Potato Could Do This?
A baked potato can lower blood pressure. That's big news because a lot of us--some 65 million Americans to be exact--have high blood pressure, which is defined as 140/90 or higher. The magic ingredient in a baked potato is potassium, which is key for controlling blood pressure. The Washington Post reports that potassium may also help prevent stroke, osteoporosis, and kidney stones.

Bet you never knew THIS could raise your blood pressure. Click to find out what it is.

If we get too little potassium, it can cause fatigue, muscle cramps, bloating, and in some cases fatal irregular heartbeats. Anyone older than 14 needs about 5 grams of potassium a day, and it should come from food sources and not supplements. The use of potassium supplements or potassium salt can cause dangerously high levels of potassium, which can lead to heart problems and even death. So stick to food for your potassium. Five grams is the amount in 10 servings of fruits and vegetables. Ideal sources of potassium, besides a baked potato with the skin, are low-fat vanilla yogurt, milk, grapefruit juice, bananas, acorn squash, raw spinach, strawberries, broccoli, chickpeas, oranges, and watermelon.

If you eat these 14 ordinary foods regularly, you'll live longer and healthier. Click to find out the surprising list of must-eat "superfoods."

On Monday, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reported that 65 million Americans--that's one in three adults--have hypertension, due in large part to the obesity epidemic. That number has risen nearly a third over the past decade, reports Reuters. It's equally prevalent in men and women; blacks have a higher risk than any other group. High blood pressure is a major risk factor for coronary heart disease, kidney failure, heart failure, stroke, and other conditions.

Do you know what's hidden in your food--from spaghetti sauce to canned soup to frozen dinners--that could lead to high blood pressure? The answer may surprise you.
