He's referring to the 50 million or so computers that already have a minimal amount of Embassy software to manage the TPM. Wave has sold about 50 million units of the Embassy Trust System that exists in Intel chips in many kinds of machines already.
These machines have never turned on their TPMs and Wave's essential problem is figuring out not so much IF they will be turned on, but rather WHY IT people are not rushing or resisting the idea that they can and should be centrally managed.
Hopefully, until actually happening, the cybersecurity movement by the White House indicates a serious intention to do just that. The article in GNC is from about 10 months ago. Some folks seem to be getting the message. The only way one knows for sure is if contracts are signed and ERAS shipped and paid for. ERAS is what manages the system and it is what MUST be purchased before Wave is anything but a theory. Close, but not closed. Show me the contracts. I understand the theory.
