It is always good to have bid support. When whackers try to send the stock lower they will sell very small lots in order to get the bid to go down BIG orders on the bid means the whacker has to sell more shares to drop the price. The other encouraging sign today is the Ask has not fallen to match the Bid

tie a few factories to a tree and bash 'em with a shovel.
