‘old man’ et al re #msg-38349169. I’m now thinking that the dry hole discussion on the APC webcast last week may indeed refer to a separate well from the one that’s the subject of today’s PR from HES and the cause of the recent weakness in the HES’ share price. The reason for my change in thinking is that XOM is the operator of the BM-S-22 project in the Santos basin and the analyst’s question on the APC webcast included no mention of XOM.

Which brings us to the obvious question: If the analyst on the APC webcast who asked about “Hess’ dry hole” was not referring to BM-S-22, what the heck was he referring to?

I would greatly appreciate any comments about this from posters on this board. T.i.a.
