Here is a new favorite of ours, oven fried chicken.
Chicken wings works very well with this one.
Soak the wings in a sea salt, garlic salt, cayenne and water soup for a day or so.
Drain them off and pat dry, and set the oven for 425f.
In a big pyrex pan or equivilent, melt a half pad of butter and same amount of Crisco. (1/4 cup or so of both)
In a baggie, mix flour,(about a half cup) your favorite seasonings, (we use what we soaked them in), and shake the wings in the bag and set out to set up for a half hour on something like a cookie cooling tray.
Once the oven is up to temperature, set the wings in the cassarole pan, and put them in for a half hour.
Turn them and let them bake for another 20 minutes or so. They should be crispy.
