Nonsense.

A guy like Urban could not get into a big New York law firm's office without a sponsor or an introduction.

Presumably he worked for the SEC for a few years, and then applied to a bunch of firms. He got a junior position, and moved up to partner. E&A has 300 lawyers; it can't be all that hard to get hired.
