Ok, Peter, let's say for the sake of argument that Dothan and Banias are 16 stage pipelines, or whatever you're trying to claim. That suits me just fine, especially since the benchmarks speak for themselves. No matter how many pipelines there are, the CPU has damn well balanced performance for something with a TDP of 21W.

Nice try, Peter, it looks like the facts speak for themselves (see above). Dothan performs right up there with Athlon 64 at half the power. With 90nm, AMD might catch up with regards to power, but Dothan will get a faster bus and memory subsystem in Q1 with Sonoma and likely faster clock speeds as well.
