Amount of shares...

Tom...thank you for your quick reply...5 percent of amount of stocks I presently have works out to around 500...so my guestimate is approximately correct...

Another question...when adding extra money to AIM I have been adding to my cash reserve if it is a small amount...

For large amounts I have been making a purchase at mkt price and increasing my PC by the total amount of the purchase....I think this makes the PC equal to the amount it would be if this amount was included in my original purchase...

In addition at 500 shares my transaction costs are less than 1 percent...

Is their a different/better way to add extra money...??
