Neuro, I don't have your expertise or experience in the neuroinvestment field so, rather obviously, I am not able to cite the examples you have asked me for. I was indeed thinking of Cortex procuring a partnership/licensing agreement that included the BP taking an equity stake in Cortex as part of the deal -- which in fact did not occur -- as opposed to COR being forced to take 17 cents a share in the recent financing. It's just common sense that they are engaging in desperate measures -- the financing, the laying off of 50% of the workforce -- due to a lack of any viable alternatives.

And I don't have an "example to use as a measure of what would be a more realistic expectation" should CX-1739 prove efficacious in treating SA. Perhaps Cortex will get adequate funding to resume its R & D efforts with its low and high impact programs. Time will tell.
