I rarely post here. I'm a loan officer for a national lender and I received a call from a Berliner for a refi ... I had to turn down the loan because of home value lost. The Woman was pratically in tears ... sharing with me the dismal financial outlook for her town. I questioned her about LLEG, she was familiar with the project and shared with me her hope that they open soon, her husband has been unemployed for close to one year now with no hope of finding work in town or within a acceptable commute from home. This is a true story, and probably the story of many in Berlin. As my father used to say .." A job is a job, is a job"
