Applying these thoughts to any start-up company, not just GuardDog.

The notion that it is OK for a company to wait 6 months to a year before beginning any type of serious marketing or advertising is RIDICULOUS (IMO)!

His reason for the first aquisition, PR 2/25, was for "rapid growth". So has he now changed his business plan to "hurry up and wait"?

Can you imagine if he tried to secure start-up capital from any legitimate privat equity lender (bank, etc. or even an Angel Investor),who wants a guaranteed return on their investment. I wonder if he would have been approved if he told them he planned on waiting 6 months before advertising or marketing his product or service... Every day that passes without a serious attempt to increase subscribers is a day that a potential subscriber could sign up with another ID Theft Co.,we are losing market share.... Are GuardDogs services so supperior to the competion that people will switch over when the marketing begins?

Example: Someone opens a new car dealership, "aquires" other car dealerships in their area for "rapid growth", and THEN keeps their dealership closed for 6 months before deciding on the best way to begin marketing and advertising.

God knows i'm not Warren Buffet but it Just Does'nt Sound Right!
