Well they have an alertness feature in the airplanes already.

And get this, it has a much more stern alarm than a buzzer, because when you get drowsy in the airplane, the co-pilot smacks you in the back of the head

Nothing beats good old fashioned human actions in those situations.

Everyone has an opinion, this is mine. Refute it, agree with it, or whatever...
