The Yanks have won the AL East 11 of the past 15 years (almost your ridiculous 80% benchmark)---appearing in 6 WS--winning 4 during that time....not too shabby and no doubt providing you great enjoyment...

and the NBA dream team not only has had a tough time winning the Olympics, but the World Championship and Pan American games as well of late....
