I think most fans are so tired of the garbage regarding the steroids that at this point they wouldn't care if their favorite player came up to bat with a needle hanging out of his arm.

MLB and the Union are well aware of this too and know that nothing will ever have to be done to clean it up.

As for the pitch tipping, if it's true, I agree that would be a nightmare.

Here's my real issue with all of this.

Selena Roberts is the reporter who crucified the Duke Lacrosse team and to this day has not even offered an apology.

Selena Roberts has figured that a best selling book about A-Rod would be her meal ticket and take care of her financially for the rest of her life.

Personally I hope it bombs.

There is one thing about being a reporter and getting a scoop as she did about A-rod and steroids but to go all out to massacre the guy with a book about everything he's ever done in his life is getting old.

Who really cares at this point?
