I have to agree. Funding the large banks to keep money flowing is basic business. Getting involved in determining the direction of individual manufacturers is quite a stretch for any branch of government. Determining the balance of who owns what equity for a specific company is clearly outside the executive branch and belongs in court.

Not being a fan of Cramer, yet appreciating a phrase I heard him use years back. "Bond bullies" The concept being that with an insolvent company, the bond holders call all the shots and shareholders get their percentage of the equity: a big ZERO.

That is what I counted on holding GM all these years. Now, who the heck knows what I will get in return for all the risk extended to the company.

Oh well, time will tell but me thinks that they will never get 90% to sign aboard and I too am hoping it lands on the steps of the court.
