Welcome, Mazmania. Read the recent PR that preceded the recent run. A peek at a 3-month chart suggests the run really started end of March. Likely folks with inside info slowly accumulating.

This recent PR suggests successful research, but no telling yet what such might merit in share price. 4m shares traded today in the 24-31 range, which is over $1m in dollar value. My thoughts:

a) some overenthusiastic PR readers.
b) a boiler room pump in progress.
c) major shift upward in valuation coming, and some friends of insiders are accumulating.
d) buyout being negotiated. with $13m market cap and no debt, KERX is a bargain for any company that finds the research compelling.

Personally, I suspect C or D.

99.99% of all pinks are scams. Best to assume the other 0.01% are as well.
