What I was thinking that WMI is complaining that they could get more $$ even with a straight liqudation. Now, we know that even in case of liqudation, if there is money left for commons, commons get paid. Now, before the lawsuit comes to any resolution if they cancel the commons in their reorganization plan, let's assume, on this Friday, then there is a conflict! And I have to say that I am not lawyer either. I am just speculating.

Now, I think one of two things will happen by this Friday

1) They will ask for an extension to file the reorg. plan
2) They will submit the reorg. plan with the commons intact

I do not think they can file the reorg. plan with cancelling the commons BEFORE this lawsuit comes to any resolution.

Buyout? I do not think it will happen, at least not this soon JPM will throw the towel.

Any other thoughts? ANyone?
