I can't sit through an America's Got Talent show because there are so many bad acts, but what I do is to go to youtube where people post the ones worth seeing. As for American Idol, I don't like watching the show until they've come up with the top 12 (13), although I do watch early on so that I get a glimpse of their personalities. I don't really understand why you have such a negative feeling for this year's finalists. I think there are some terrific performers, especially Adam.
