remember when they banned shorting financial stocks in the US last year? they tanked hard pretty much every day ban was in effect. The day short selling ban ended financials started a huge bounce lol

this is such bs. why didn't they make this a priority when markets started huge tank couple months ago? now that markets are up a bunch after huge rally and finally ready to tank they'll put restrictions in to short? Shorts buy same as longs sell. If economy wsan't f'ed shorts would get squeezed and it'd drive prices up. Problem is a f'ed economy, not some BS rules they want to put in place that'll dry up liquidity.
