Seems you found a way to profit from sector rotation.

I did not do that intenionaly though that would be a good thing to consider. After all, if you had all your stocks in in one sector and they all moved together then the re balance part would be inefective.

What I have done so far is to use a stock screener. I think it was the one on yahoo. there I screened for stocks under $x and above $y, say $20 and $5. I also looked for high beta like 1.5 and up. High ave. volume and if in the mood, companies making money! #:) Then I would look at the "chosen ones" longer term chart to see what kind of action these stocks exibited in the past 3 to 5 years. I like to see the old roller coaster formation.

And thats how I do it. But I will have to give sectors some thought. Thanks
