morrowinder, isn't a K8-based Sempron 3100+ faster than an Athlon64 3000+ on 32-bit applications? Now, I do agree with your premise that AMD should also get away from ratings that look like clock rates. Just disagree with your conclusion, it is not hypocrisy if AMD has the benchmarks to establish the rating.
