Just what does IDCC have a license with Spreadtrum for? Did they spend a lot of time and legal expense to enter into a agreement that is as useless as teats on a boar hog?

Is Spreadtrum just a 2G chip maker who has no ability to upgrade and sell 3G and 4G chips? Just where did IDCC expect to receieve revenues from this licensee?
