Well, let’s not pull any punches. This has got the potential, not fact, but potential for “all world” ugly written all over it. I got nothing good or constructive from the strictly tech side to say.

Sure, a person could mention it was at 1856 with 5 min to go. Some one else could mention it did occur on a Friday. But that’s not the big picture.

Haven’t broken this down to stock level yet. Still looking at the intermarkets and their related dynamics.

But what we have in the pot is, things like weak sectors getting weaker, money flow out of, lack of company spending, international money concerns, starting with over borrowing, still have interest rates which have to lower p/e values, oil /energy concerns, terror concerns overseas and threats for next weeks convention, Greece is not a secure thing either, then we have new and exciting terns like super cycles and grand super cycles, breakdown into bear formations, which they are, you just can’t ignore them. But then again it depends on the view and the focus. I have been in a lot of good discussion this evening on this, that and everything else with these questions. can tell you this people from New York to LA are paying attention.

I guess I also have alot of thinking to do this weekend.

PS you mentioned 1675 or so I think. General thoughts to the down side risk among the people favoring the breakdown is no major support until low 1500’s and this in a very short time frame. Then forever and a day to get back to 2000. Not me however, no I’m still above 1860 mark and asking where everybody went. Ah it’s late you have to give me that one.LOL

I’ll try and create a proper chart this weekend. Until then here is a few to glance at. NAHL looks especially ugly considering how far we could drop to. They all look bad right now. Time to put some thought in. I guess one good thing is many stocks are already oversold, but the counter to that is it’s summer and only the big boys can pull this out.
